Pāḷi Chanting
After thirteen years of Dhamma iteration, Dhamma Earth’s “Pāli Chanting Book” has finally blended well with the chanting book of “Pa-Auk Tawya Meditation Centre” in its third revision. The morning chanting is led by Pa Auk Sayadaw, Sayadaw U Janakābhivaṃsa and Venerable U Maṅgala on a rotational basis. Before the end of the morning chanting session, the residents of the monastery will reflect on Venerable U Maṅgala’s “Morning Reflection” as the beginning and protection of the day.
The “Morning Reflection” is the essence of Venerable U Maṅgala’s accumulated learning and teaching of Dhamma over the years. The daily reflection can help Buddhist disciples deeply imprint the Dhamma in their mind, so it becomes a natural habit and a mode of attention which they can use to face various tests and hardships in life. This is the guide of practicing the Dhamma.
“The Voice of Dhamma Earth” provides the edited sutta chanting, especially for Dhamma friends. All you have to do is download a free audio editor software to edit the sutta you pick to the length which is suitable, according to your Dhamma joy and wisdom faculty. Busy lay devotees can choose to download available edited short chanting, and start their day auspiciously and in an enriching manner, with the blessing of sayadaws.
Those who are interested in getting the latest hard copy of Dhamma Earth’s “Pāli Chanting Book” can come to the monastery upon its re-opening. The monastery will provide free copies of the chanting book. Dhamma is priceless, so do cherish the chanting book.

Tusita Morning Chanting
👆🏼——Every morning, all practitioners of Tusita Hermitage are compulsory participate in morning chanting. The length of these chanting session is about 45mins.
Morning Chanting for Layperson
👆🏼——Intended for busy layperson. The length of chanting session is about 15mins. Laity can choose one of the 3 chanting combinations daily which are based on 3 important Theravadian protection sutta: Mettasuttaṁ, Maṅgalasuttaṁ, Ratanasuttaṁ & Khandhasuttaṁ respectively. Each chanting combination ends with making aspiration and sharing of merits.
Layperson Precepts
👆🏼——Ven. U Maṅgala gives layperson precepts. You can play the the recording and follow Bhante’s recitation in front of Buddha statue to take precepts. Taking precepts are a simple yet very important and fundamental practice for a Buddhist. Laity is advised to recite taking 3 refuges & 5 precepts at the beginning of each day i.e before going to work etc. By being persistent and doing this day after day, you will notice its protective power in future not only in present life but also the lives after.
